The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services issued the following updates in the MLN Connects Provider eNews:
President Announces Launch of TrumpRx to Lower Drug Prices
President Donald J. Trump announced the launch of TrumpRx.gov, a website where "patients will be able to access large discounts on many of the most popular and highest-priced medicines in the country." The most-favored-nation price will be available for selected drugs from AstraZeneca, Eli Lilly, EMD Serono, Novo Nordisk and Pfizer. Patients can now purchase these drugs directly on TrumpRx.gov and receive the discounts.
2026 Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Application Cycle Is Open
The Nurse Corps Loan Repayment Program application is now open through 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. If you are a nurse working in a critical shortage facility or teaching as a nurse faculty member at an accredited school of nursing, this program offers an opportunity to reduce your nursing school debt. With two years of Nurse Corps service, you can pay off 60 percent of your nursing education debt, and with a third year of service, you can reduce it by an additional 25 percent.
