340B Webinar - Nov. 4

unRx will host a webinar, Managing 340B Pharmacy Amid Evolving Policies and Legal Challenges, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4. Speaker Bharath Krishnamurthy, Health Policy & Analytics at the American Hospital Association, will share valuable insights to help eligible entities navigate regulatory changes, manage their 340B programs effectively and respond to evolving policy updates.

KHA Board Meeting - Nov. 5

KHA has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include the American Hospital Association delegate.

Sunflower Health Network Board Meeting - Nov. 6

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 26 counties located primarily in North Central and North West Kansas. Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

Essentials of Medication-Assisted Treatment in Practice Webinar

Substance Abuse Webinar (Oct. 31, 2025) – Providers and clinicians are invited to join a free webinar from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, where Daniel Warren, MD, will present the Essentials of Medication-Assisted Treatment in practice. Dr. Warren will explain the types of FDA-approved medications used to treat substance use disorders, including their characteristics and how they work in the brain; outline the steps for initiating, stabilizing, monitoring and adjusting a patient's MAT regimen; and describe how MAT fits into the broader, whole-patient treatment continuum, including integration with behavioral therapies. One hour of continuing education will be granted (meeting the DEA requirement under the MATE Act). The webinar is hosted by the KU School of Medicine-Wichita, DCCCA, the Kansas Board of Pharmacy and the Kansas Hospital Association/Healthworks.
