Drug Testing and Trends at the KBI Laboratory: Partnerships and Progress – April 23
(April 3, 2026) – DCCCA, a Kansas substance use disorder treatment provider, and the Kansas Hospital Association are cohosting a community of practice webinar from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 23. Patrick Porubski, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, will present Drug Testing and Trends at the KBI Laboratory: Partnerships and Progress. Participants will learn about forensic drug testing at the KBI laboratory, trends observed in seized drug and toxicology data, polysubstance use observations in data and opportunities for cross community collaboration and data sharing. Funding from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has enabled DCCCA to provide continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals and social workers at no cost.
