(Dec. 24, 2025) – The Kansas Hospital Association is pleased to offer its Health Care Preceptor Academy in 2026 at no cost to participants, thanks to funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration. Updated in collaboration with the Midwest Clinical Instruction Regional Network, the academy equips new and experienced preceptors with practical tools for onboarding, mentoring and workforce retention.
Participants will gain strategies for preceptor roles, assessment, communication, feedback, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, legal considerations and burnout prevention. All sessions, whether in person or virtual, cover the same core material and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
In-Person Academies
Each session features the same interactive content and is limited to 30 participants.
