(May 15, 2026) – Join the Kansas Health Opportunities Coalition for Community Health Workers in Action: Cross-Sector Partnerships in Kansas at 1 p.m. on May 20. This virtual session will explore how CHWs are helping address complex community needs through innovative collaboration.
Topics to be covered include:
- A clear overview of CHW roles, training and integration into care teams;
- A real-world look at how partners across public health, corrections and community organizations built a responsive workforce model; and
- Practical insights on partnership development, implementation, early outcomes and opportunities to scale similar efforts.
The Kansas Hospital Association is a member of the Kansas Health Opportunities Coalition. The coalition is a group of organizations working together to provide tools and resources to help Kansans lead a healthy life.
