(Aug. 7, 2026) – Applications for the Carolyn Boone Lewis Award for Improving Health Outcomes, presented by the American Hospital Association, open in one month. This national award honors organizations that use data-informed, person-centered strategies to improve health outcomes and address disparities.
Organizations are encouraged to apply if they meet the following criteria:
- Use data to identify and clearly define disparities;
- Design community-based, person-centered strategies;
- Demonstrate measurable improvements in outcomes; and
- Build trust and engagement within the communities they serve.
