(July 10, 2026) – The American Hospital Association’s
Carolyn Boone Lewis Award for Improving Health Outcomes recognizes excellence in applying data-informed strategies to improve health outcomes. Hospitals and health systems that are members of AHA and in good standing may apply. Winning organizations will share impact across hospital, health system, and communities served with a connection to improved health outcomes. One winner and two finalists will be selected for the Carolyn Boone Lewis Award for Improving Health Outcomes. Awards will be presented at the AHA Leadership Summit 2027 in San Diego. Applications open on Sept. 4, 2026 and are due Dec. 4, 2026, 10:59 PM CT.
