KAHPAM Educational Program - Sept. 18

KAHPAM conducts several educational programs annually. At the present time, they have two meetings per year, plus a joint meeting with the Sunflower Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. These meetings provide a great forum for interaction and networking.

KHEA Educational Program - Sept. 22-23

The Kansas Healthcare Engineers' Association is organized to advance the development of effective procedures in health care facilities and to provide educational opportunities for the personal growth of its members. The Association plans and conducts at least two meetings per year: a spring and fall workshop.

Board of Pharmacy Selects Platform for Drug Supply Chain Security Act Compliance

(Sept. 18, 2026) – In the September 2026 Kansas Board of Pharmacy Newsletter, the Board of Pharmacy announced Pulse by NABP would be the official system for complying with the board's product tracing request, in accordance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act and accompanying Kansas law. All functions in Pulse required by the Board of Pharmacy are free features of the software. The Board of Pharmacy began using Pulse earlier this year and reported that several chain pharmacies were onboarded in early July. According to the Board of Pharmacy, distributors will be invited to create Pulse accounts this fall.
