Beware the Shopkeep's Potions! Tidings of Retail Kratom and 7-OH – Feb. 26 Webinar
(Feb. 13, 2026) – The Kansas Prescription Drug and Opioid Advisory Committee is offering a webinar titled Beware the Shopkeep’s Potions! Tidings of Retail Kratom and 7-OH, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 26. Luke Rosebraugh, MD, an addiction medicine fellow at KU School of Medicine-Wichita, will describe Kratom and 7-OH, their differences, and the associated risks and toxicity. He will also discuss use, withdrawal syndrome and strategies for assessing patients' potential use and treating Kratom use disorder. Continuing education credit will be offered at no cost to physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals, and social workers, with up to 100 attendees. The program and the no-cost CE are made possible through sponsorship by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and OD2A grant funding.
