At the Crossroads of Crisis Webinar – June 25

(June 19, 2026) – The Kansas Hospital Association is pleased to partner with DCCCA to cohost a webinar titled At the Crossroads of Crisis: The Intersection of Substance Use Disorder and Intimate Partner Violence, from 1 to 2 p.m. on June 25.

By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Identify how an abusive partner may use substances to gain coercive control;
  • Understand the impact that abuse and trauma can have on substance use addiction; and
  • Identify three prevention strategies that empower survivors to help prevent substance misuse, enhance safety and support recovery efforts.

Continuing education credit will be offered to physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals and social workers at no cost.
