APS Welcomes New Vendor, Mednition, Inc., to Its Roster of Services Provided to Hospitals
(Sept. 18, 2026) – California-based Mednition, Inc., has developed an award-winning emergency room triage tool now available to APS members. Mednition's KATE AI targets "the most expensive five minutes" to protect revenue, mitigate uncompensated care and improve outcomes.
KATE AI Solutions, consisting of KATE Triage, KATE Sepsis and KATE Reporting (Clinical Data Engine or CDE), is software delivered as a service providing triage risk assessment and early sepsis detection guidance and reporting in a hospital facility's Emergency Department.
KATE provides real-time, clinically accurate Triage Decision Support to Emergency Department Nurses focused on delivering the right care at the right time.
APS will host a webinar for the endorsed partner, Mednition, at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. Registration is required.
