KHSC Board Meeting - Sept. 9

KHSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission of serving hospitals. APS Welcomes New Vendor, Mednition, Inc., to Its Roster of Services Provided to Hospitals

APS (Aug. 28, 2026) – California-based Mednition, Inc., has developed an award-winning emergency room triage tool now available to APS members. Mednition's KATE AI targets "the most expensive five minutes" to protect revenue, reduce uncompensated care and improve outcomes.

KATE AI Solutions, consisting of KATE Triage, KATE Sepsis and KATE Reporting (Clinical Data Engine or CDE), is a software-as-a-service solution that provides triage risk assessment, early sepsis detection guidance and reporting in a hospital facility's Emergency Department.

KATE provides real-time, clinically accurate Triage Decision Support to Emergency Department nurses focused on delivering the right care to patients at the right time.
