(Sept. 26, 2025) – Sunflower Foundation has released the comprehensive, statewide needs
assessment of substance use disorder systems. The needs assessment was funded by the Kansas Fights Addiction Board and conducted by the University of Kansas Center for Public Partnerships and Research. The assessment aimed to gain a better understanding of SUD system needs in Kansas to further reduce substance abuse and addiction, save lives and improve systems of care.
