KHSC will be a valuable resource to Kansas healthcare facilities and the Kansas Hospital Association as they serve their constituents.

KHA Health Care Preceptor Academy - Feb. 3

The Health Care Preceptor Academy is designed to engage and grow current and future preceptors with key education tools and strategies to foster a strong preceptororientee relationship. This interactive program provides information and practical tools to improve preceptor abilities. As a preceptor, you can make a difference in how a new employee adjusts to your hospital.

Quality Corner Call - Feb. 3

Quality Corner Calls are offered by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and Healthworks and focus on quality improvement activities consistent with the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program.

2025 KHA Public Funding Survey – Due Jan. 30

Survey (Jan. 23, 2025) –This week, the Kansas Hospital Association opened the KHA Public Funding Survey. Emails were sent to all KHA member hospital CEOs and CFOs. Survey responses directly support KHA's advocacy efforts and help ensure our members and policymakers have accurate information on mill levies, sales taxes and other public funding sources that support hospital operations. KHA appreciates and strongly encourages participation. Survey results will be shared with participating hospitals at the individual hospital level, and only aggregated state and regional data will be reported publicly.
