KHSC Board Meeting - Sept. 3

KHSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission to serve hospitals. Its mission is to provide enhanced value to KHA members through evaluation and endorsement of selected vendors of services needed by the KHA membership. KHSC will be a valuable resource to Kansas health care facilities and the Kansas Hospital Association as they serve their constituents.

The Kansas Hospital Association is a voluntary, non-profit organization existing to provide leadership and services to member hospitals. KHA is the lead organization in a group of companies and affiliates that provides a wide array of services to the hospitals of Kansas and the Midwest region. VISION: Optimal Health for Kansans. MISSION: To be the leading advocate and resource for members.

Measuring Malnutrition Webinar – Sept. 17

Farmers Market (Aug. 22, 2025) – The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is offering a webinar, Measuring Malnutrition, at 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 17. Malnutrition impacts overall health and affects millions of hospitalized patients. However, it is often undiagnosed and untreated. Participants will learn what malnutrition is and how it is diagnosed. The Malnutrition Care Score is a quality measure introduced in 2020. Learn new implementation strategies and hear success stories. Presenters include Avalere Health and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
