340B Webinar - Nov. 4

unRx will host a webinar, Managing 340B Pharmacy Amid Evolving Policies and Legal Challenges, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4. Speaker Bharath Krishnamurthy, Health Policy & Analytics at the American Hospital Association, will share valuable insights to help eligible entities navigate regulatory changes, manage their 340B programs effectively and respond to evolving policy updates.

KHA Board Meeting - Nov. 5

KHA has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include the American Hospital Association delegate.

Sunflower Health Network Board Meeting - Nov. 6

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 26 counties located primarily in North Central and North West Kansas. Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

Health Conference Committee Meets
Today, the Health Conference Committee met and agreed to changes to HB 2280. The conference committee also agreed to changes in SB 250. The committee is slated to meet tomorrow to discuss Sub for SB 126.

Insurance Conference Committee Completes Work
Today, the House and Senate Insurance Conference Committees met and agreed to two conference committee reports.

House and Senate Pass Conference Committee Reports
The House and Senate are working through bill bundles at this point in the legislative session.

Elections Bill Veto Override
Today, the Senate took a vote regarding SB 4. The legislation requires the return of advance voting ballots by 7:00 p.m. on the day of the election.

Scholarships Awarded from Kansas Health Care Organizations

(Oct. 13, 2025) - Healthworks is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 24th Annual Health Care Scholarship Program. Healthworks partnered with the Kansas Hospital Human Resources Association and the Kansas Association of Health Care Executives to provide 26 scholarships totaling $36,000.
