(Jan. 13, 2026) – Today, the House and Senate held a Joint Session to receive the annual State of the Judiciary. The newly sworn-in Chief Justice Eric Rosen addressed members of both chambers. This evening, Governor Laura Kelly is slated to deliver the State of the State Address to both chambers at 6:30 p.m., with budget details to follow in a joint presentation to the budget committees at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
