Senate Public Health and Welfare Hears and Works on the Expedited Partner Therapy Bill
(Feb. 11, 2026) – Today, the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee held a hearing on Senate Bill 430, which would authorize licensed physical therapists to perform specific capillary blood tests.
Those appearing before the committee were:

The committee also worked Senate Bill 448, which authorizes the use of expedited partner therapy to treat a sexually transmitted disease. SB 448 will now go to the full senate for review.
