(Feb. 25, 2026) – Today, the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee held hearings on the following bills:
House Bill 2533 enacts the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact, granting interstate practice privileges to occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.
House Bill 2534 enacts the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact, granting interstate practice privileges to respiratory therapists.
The committee is slated to meet again tomorrow.
