(Feb. 11, 2026) – Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Kellie Warren (R-Leawood), held a discussion and considered bills, including Senate Bill 413, which would prohibit counsel from suggesting an amount of damages for noneconomic loss in civil actions.
The bill will now go to the full Senate.
