Senate Government Efficiency Committee Hears Bill Awarding Identification of Fraud, Waste and Abuse
(Feb. 12, 2026) – Today, the Senate Government Efficiency Committee held a hearing on Senate Bill 450, which authorizes the secretary of administration to grant a monetary award to a state employee who reports activity constituting fraud, waste or abuse of funds in any program administered by a state agency.
The committee will meet again on Monday to work the bills before them.
