(March 23, 2026) – This morning, the Conference Committee on Senate Financial Institutions and Insurance and House Insurance met. The group agreed to the following amendments to Senate Bill 360:
- Amendment clarifying that health plan and health benefit plan have the same meaning for purposes of the bill.
- Amendment to change reference from "free" to "no cost access."
- Amendment to require real acquisition cost reporting compared to the National Average Drug Acquisition Cost.
- Amendment to require changes to pharmacy benefit managers' contracts and notification minimums to pharmacies must be made 10 days in advance.
The committee agreed to put the contents into shell Senate Bill 20, and the Conference Committee Report ran across the House and passed on a vote of 104-17. The legislation will now go to the Senate for a final vote tomorrow before going to the governor.
