(March 2, 2026) - Today, the House Insurance Committee is slated to hold an informational discussion regarding
Senate Bill 360 and federal law. The legislation is the Pharmacy Benefits Manager Accountability Act, which requires PBMs to charge a health benefit plan the same price for a prescription drug as the PBM pays a pharmacy for that drug, using the most recent published National Average Drug Acquisition Cost as a reference and to reimburse pharmacies at an amount not less than NADAC, plus a dispensing fee of $10.50. The hearing is likely to go late into the day.
