House Health and Human Services Hears Pharmacy-Related Bills

(March 5, 2026) – Today, the House Health and Human Services Committee held hearings on the following bills:

Senate Bill 328 permits a pharmacist to distribute pre-measured doses of epinephrine to schools for emergency medication kits.

Senate Bill 448 permits the use of expedited partner therapy to treat a sexually transmitted disease.

The committee also took final action on Senate Bill 430, which permits licensed physical therapists to perform certain capillary blood tests. The committee amended the bill and recommended favorably for passage on a split voice vote. The bill will now go to the full House.

The committee will meet again next week.
