The Inspector General reviewed recent audits and the annual report with the committee and provided an overview of an issue brief on voter registration processes within the driver's license process.

The committee asked about the percentage of error rates compared to instances of fraud, asked how we compare to other states, and asked about agency response to audits.

Bill introductions included a bill dealing with the Kansas State Board of Nursing and licensure, as well as a personal needs allowance increase for long-term care residents in long-term care facilities. These bills will be officially read in and assigned bill numbers in the coming days.

The committee will meet again next week.
