Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

Final Constitutional Amendment Passes in Last Hours of Legislative Session

(April 11, 2025) – Starting around 3:00 p.m. today, the House Taxation Committee met to push through a state constitutional amendment. The amendment, similar to HCR 5011, was inserted into SCR 1603. The amendment will allow a vote to limit property tax valuation increases for real property and personal property classified as mobile homes. The resolution, which requires a two-thirds majority, did not run across the chamber floor.
