(July 30, 2025) – The second day of the 2025 Kansas Hospital Association Annual Convention and Trade Show continues Friday, Sept. 5, with a morning full of insight, connection and celebration.
Start your day at 7:15 a.m. with the Trustee Breakfast and Education Session in the Riverview Ballroom (ticket required). Opal Greenway, principal with Stroudwater, will present The Board's Role in Medical Staff Alignment and Provider Compensation, offering key strategies for aligning governance with clinical leadership.
At 9:00 a.m., head to the Grand Eagle Ballroom for a motivating general session with Ryan Minton: Thanks for Coming in Today! Creating a Culture Where Employees Thrive and Customer Service Is Alive. Minton will share how organizations can energize staff and patient experiences through authentic service and leadership.
Stick around for a dose of humor and perspective at 10:00 a.m. as Steve Bedwell, MD, takes the stage with How to Screw Up, Stress Out and Get Nothing Done!, an entertaining, evidence-based look at how to break through frustration and increase effectiveness.
From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., make your way to the Expo Hall for another opportunity to visit the Trade Show, featuring exhibitors who support hospitals and health care across Kansas.

The luncheon begins at 12:30 p.m. (ticket required), sponsored by Kansas Health Service Corporation. The 2025 KHA Annual Convention, Mission: Possible, will be Sept. 4-5, at the Hyatt Regency Wichita/Century II Convention Center in Wichita. Registration materials may be downloaded from the KHA website. Online registration is available. Because of ongoing supply chain issues, please register by Friday, Aug. 15, to ensure meal availability.
