Check out the 2026 End of Session Report to review what passed during the 2026 legislative session and to understand what will carry over when the legislature returns on Jan. 11, 2027. Kansas Hospitals Advocate in Washington D.C.

In April, KHA members traveled to Washington, DC, for the AHA Annual Meeting and met with our congressional delegation. We thanked them for their help in pushing for CMS's approval of the state's provider tax. We also discussed our concerns about both old and emerging issues.

Supporting Community Health Improvement in Kansas

KHA is one of the founding organizations of Kansas Health Matters, an important tool to help hospitals with community health needs assessments and community health improvement plans. Many members also use this site to collect data needed for grants or other funding applications.
