KHSC Board Meeting - Jan. 29

KHSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission of serving hospitals. Its mission is to provide enhanced value to KHA members by evaluating and endorsing selected vendors of services needed by the KHA membership. KHSC will be a valuable resource to Kansas healthcare facilities and the Kansas Hospital Association as they serve their constituents.

The Health Care Preceptor Academy is designed to engage and grow current and future preceptors with key education tools and strategies to foster a strong preceptororientee relationship. Kansas has three Rural Emergency Hospitals - SCK Health in Arkansas City, Rush County Memorial Hospital in La Crosse and Mercy Hospital, Inc., in Moundridge. In the last year, three hospitals have converted to Critical Access Hospitals - Coffeyville Regional Medical Canter in Coffeyville; Morton County Health System in Elkhart; and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Ulysses.
