KHA Workers' Comp Fund Board Meeting - Nov. 12

The primary objective of the KHA Workers' Compensation Fund is to provide moderately priced workers' compensation insurance to KHA members. The fund Administrator and Safety Program Manager enhance customer service. The individual pool members for each plan year are considered the owners of the KHA-WC pool for that year. They are eligible for premium refunds and are responsible for potential assessments.

ACHE of Kansas - formerly KAHCE - Education Program - Nov. 12

The Kansas Association of Health Care Executives is an independent chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives. KAHCEs mission is to be the professional membership society for healthcare executives in Kansas to meet its members professional, educational, and leadership needs to promote high ethical standards and conduct, and to advance healthcare leadership and management excellence. Membership in KAHCE is included with your ACHE membership.

KHA Legislative Dinner - Nov. 13

We are excited to offer the membership the opportunity to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities at your hospitals with policymakers. This year, we are excited to host legislative dinners throughout the state featuring interactive conversations about hospital challenges.

Hospital Board Leaders' Program (third out of series of three programs)- Nov. 18

This program is for board chairs, chair-elects , vice chairs and board members in line to be chair. Session resources will be shared with the board members CEOadministrator since they will not be able to attend the program.

Kansas Healthcare Collaborative

The Kansas Hospital Association and the Kansas Medical Society founded the Kansas Healthcare Collaborative in 2008 as a provider-led organization dedicated to transforming health care through patient-centered initiatives that improve quality, safety and value. KHC embodies the commitment of KHA and KMS to act as a resource and continually enhance care provided to Kansans. KHC’s mission is to engage and align providers and stakeholders to establish Kansas as a role model for health care quality and a top-performer in health care outcomes.
