For 39 years, Vic Blaufuss has helped keep Coffey Health System safe, functional and ready to serve. His work often happens behind the scenes, but its impact is immediate and essential. When the emergency department’s air conditioning failed during a heatwave, Vic quickly secured portable units to keep care moving. During the pandemic, he evaluated airflow, secured PPE and built barriers and visitation enclosures to protect safety while preserving connection. His steady leadership reflects a lifelong commitment to life safety.
