Jacob “Jake” Perryman’s path to health care is rooted in service, resilience, and purpose. A U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Perryman moved from paramedic to ED nurse, house supervisor and now APRN in the Walk-In Care Clinic. His calm presence reassures patients and staff alike. He consistently demonstrates innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement and proactively implementing solutions that enhance patient care and strengthen community health outcomes.
He helped spark a care delivery change using APRNs for night coverage, improving patient experience and reducing costs. Most recently, he developed infectious disease screening protocols to strengthen preparedness for international travelers.
