Angela "Angie" Taylor has been a cornerstone of Rice Community Health for 18 years, progressing from a CNA to her current roles as Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist and Nurse Educator. Over the past year, she has shown exceptional dedication to staff training and support, stepping up to become certified in PALS, ACLS and TNCC after the retirement of a key instructor. Taylor revamped the staff orientation process in collaboration with the Nurse Advisory Committee and personally ensures new hires feel welcome and prepared. Taylor is a trusted leader, who provides guidance without needing direction and her collaborative nature is evident in her teamwork to improve emergency readiness by standardizing crash carts.
