For 32 years, Amanda “Mandy” Simon has been a steady, compassionate presence at Osborne County Memorial Hospital. Growing from CNA to lab manager, she leads by example — training staff, taking call and weekend shifts, supporting team-building efforts and greeting patients with warmth from the lab near the hospital lobby. Simon also helped champion the hospital’s new facility campaign and supported the team through the move and COVID-19. Her quiet leadership, community spirit and commitment to rural health care reflect OCMH’s mission every day.
