Opioid Educational Webinar: Partnering to Increase Access to SUD Treatment – May 3

Please join us on May 3 to hear how hospitals and communities are partnering to increase access to substance use disorder treatment and harm reduction. The program has been approved for 1.0 contact hours of continuing nursing education and pending approval for 1.0 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education. There is no charge to attend as this program is funded through a grant from our partners at DCCCA.

Vaccination Community Navigator Training

(Mar. 28, 2024) – IKC Community Health Specialists are hosting Vaccination Community Navigator Trainings inApril. Each training features a different module, highlighting key concepts to enhance vaccine knowledge and confidence among community members. The Vaccination Community Navigator Program is a comprehensive, continuing education curriculum for Promotores/Community Health Workers, designed to build their capacity (measured through increased knowledge and reported confidence) to engage their communities in vaccine conversations and navigate people of all ages to vaccination services.
