The Kansas Health Service Corporation endorses KaMMCO (Kansas Medical Mutual Insurance Company) as the preferred provider of professional and general liability insurance for hospitals, physicians and other health care professionals.

KHSC has negotiated special terms and pricing with a number of different companies providing services to hospitals. These include:

  • BoardEffect
  • Chubb Insurance
  • Class Action Capital Settlements
  • EmployeeTalk Survey Tool
  • Etactics Billing
  • INAalert Messaging Service
  • Legal Shield
  • Life Solutionz Alternative Compensation Program
  • Merchant Services (SBGA) Credit Card Processing
  • Proprio Language Services
  • RabbitTrax
  • Remi Equipment Service Contracts
  • SunRx 340B Drug Program

The Kansas Health Service Corporation is a for-profit subsidiary of the Kansas Hospital Association and provides needed products and services to KHA member hospitals. The KHA Workers’ Compensation Fund is a taxable workers’ compensation pool operated by KHSC.

KHSC is partnered with Remi. Remi is a cost savings alternative to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Service Contracts. Remi also can extend the life of equipment by providing heavily discounted service options for "older" dependable equipment, long after the OEM deems the equipment obsolete. KHSC has negotiated a minimum guaranteed savings of at least 15 percent on eligible equipment, and that guarantee will grow as more hospitals utilize the services of Remi.
