Healthcare Financial Management Association
Healthcare Financial Management Association is a national organization for health care financial management professionals comprised of members employed by hospitals, integrated delivery systems, long-term and ambulatory care facilities, managed care organizations, medical group practices, public accounting and consulting firms, insurance companies, government agencies and other health care organizations. The Kansas chapter, known as the Sunflower chapter, has committed to provide their membership with quality education programs, career and professional development resources and a forum to facilitate an exchange of ideas, information and experience. The Sunflower chapter has been recognized nationally for each of the past six years by winning the Charles F. Mehler Gold Award for education, attaining some of the highest number of education hours per member in the nation.
