The hospitals of Kansas founded KHA in 1910 to improve hospital care through the exchange of knowledge and ideas. The association provides members with opportunities to share information, receive education and develop approaches to legislative and regulatory reforms.

KAMSS Business Meeting and Education Program - Nov. 20

Earn CEU credits by participating in KAMSS meetings and the state association annual meeting. Keep up-to-date on the national level with other medical staff services personnel and join NAMSS. NAMSS offers the following certification programs to its members: Certified Professional Medical Staff Management and Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist. These certifications are a recognized standard of excellence in the medical staff profession.

With this week’s visit to St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, Kansas, U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) completed his statewide tour of all 127 Kansas community hospitals. Sen. Moran began visiting community hospitals while representing the “Big First” district in the U.S. House of Representatives. The “Big First” is home to 75 of the state’s 127 community hospitals, and boasts more community hospitals than any other district in the country.
