Marcus Engel, MS, CPXP, CSP, is a certified speaking professional and author renowned for his insights into excellent patient care. His keynote presentation, The Other End of the Stethoscope, has impacted tens of thousands of health care professionals, and his books are widely used in nursing and allied health programs. Despite being blinded and nearly killed by a drunk driver as a college freshman, Marcus emerged from extensive rehab and facial reconstruction with a profound understanding of patient care. He holds degrees from Missouri State University and Columbia University, with an honorary doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, an adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame, Marcus resides in Orlando, Florida, with his wife and Seeing Eye dog, James, and remains passionate about connecting with health care professionals nationwide.
