Legislation Introduced to Target Health Care Challenges

Congress may be in recess, but work continues on several health care priorities important to Kansas hospitals. Representative Sharice Davids recently introduced a series of bills addressing rural hospital sustainability, maternity care, anesthesia services and health care affordability.

Efforts Continue to Challenge 340B Rebate Pilot

Opposition continues to grow against the federal 340B Rebate Pilot, scheduled to take effect Jan. 1, 2027. The AHA and other plaintiffs have filed a lawsuit challenging the program, and Congressman Tracey Mann and bipartisan colleagues have introduced legislation to delay its implementation.
