(March 24, 2023) – The top two issues hospitals are facing, workforce and finance, are the focus of the Kansas Hospital Association Spring District Meetings. Ashley Wallace, Kansas Department of Health and Environment, will join the meetings to help members learn more about their health professional shortage area designation. In addition, we will discuss the Medicaid request for proposals process, Medicaid unwinding and the All Payer Scorecard. KHA members will lead a discussion on the preventative health services making an impact where members are encouraged to share what they are doing locally. Advocacy issues and other current topics also will be discussed.
We encourage CEOs, CFOs, HR executives, trustees and senior staff to join us for these meetings. District Meetings are limited to KHA hospital and system members.
