(Sept. 11, 2020) – After months of hard work and dedication, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment launched on Sept. 1 a new website on palliative care.
The website's goal is to introduce and educate Kansans on palliative care and to allow information-based browsing on different areas of focus. The website focuses on Helping People Live the Best Life. It includes information on Adults, Children, Caregivers, Healthcare Providers, in addition to evolving Palliative Care Quality of Life Advisory Council pages. The site also features videos of patients and providers sharing stories and resources. Content will be updated regularly with current information, materials and resources, announcements, and stories.
For any questions, suggestions, feedback or comments, please contact Leslie Hale, LMSW, palliative care program manager at (785) 296-5535.
