(March 15, 2019) – The Kansas Healthcare Education Council is hosting its Spring Conference, April 4 and 5, at the 9th Street Holiday Inn in Salina.
KaHEC is an organization available to persons responsible for some aspect of health care education or training in hospitals, health care organizations, academic institutions or other health-related agencies in Kansas. Their mission is to provide an opportunity and resources for support, motivation and development of KaHEC members to become more competent, professional educators.
The networking session on April 4 will include author Laura Wing who will present key elements of her noon book, Better Co-Workers by Monday. The Friday session will feature national speaker and educator, Michele Deck. Deck will present, Building Bridges: Spanning the Generations and Top 10 Creative Teaching Strategies.
A block of rooms has been reserved for KaHEC participants with a rate of $105 for King Bed or $115 for Double Queen Beds if the reservation is made by March 28.
