(Sept. 18, 2020) – The Kansas Hospital Association is seeking candidates to fill the position of vice president, state legislative relations. Ideally, the chosen candidate will be on board late in 2020.
This position will report to the vice president, government relations and be responsible for serving KHA members through policy, advocacy and leadership. The position oversees state legislative efforts to ensure proper implementation and understanding of KHA's member needs. Other facets of this position include presenting legislative testimony to legislative committees; developing and maintaining relationships with members of the legislature, legislative staff and other state agency officials, and providing leadership and collaboration with hospital government relations executives.
