HRSA Funding Opportunity: Rural Communities Opioid Response Program-Planning
(May 15, 2020) –The Health Resources and Services Administration has announced
a new opioid response program funding opportunity for rural communities. HRSA will make approximately 50 awards of $200,000 each to enhance capacity to address substance use disorder, including opioid use disorder. All domestic public and private entities, nonprofit and for-profit, are eligible to apply. Applicant organizations may be located in an urban or rural areas; however, all activities supported by the program must exclusively target HRSA-designated rural areas. HRSA will host an hour-long webinar for applicants at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27. Registration is not necessary to participate in the webinar. Just use the link in the notice of funding opportunity to sign in. Grant applications are due July 13.
