(Aug. 28, 2020) – DCCCA has received funding from the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services to provide free training and naloxone kits to individuals and organizations in Kansas. DCCCA is hosting two webinar opportunities in September in which participants will be trained on naloxone administration. Webinar participants will be eligible to request a free naloxone kit to be shipped to them following the webinar.
The naloxone webinars will begin at:
Noon on Sept. 8 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 29 .
The content of these one-hour webinars will be the same so participants are expected to attend only one of the sessions.
If your hospital, health system or organization is interested in receiving a naloxone administration training for your staff; or has received training in the past and needs replacement naloxone kits, please reach out to Krista Machado at DCCCA.
Individuals outside of Kansas are welcome to attend; however, due to grant restrictions DCCCA is unable to provide free naloxone kits to any individual or organization outside of Kansas.
