Free Naloxone Kits and Training Available to Hospitals
(July 30, 2021) – DCCCA provides free naloxone nasal spray kits and training to hospitals, community organizations, individuals and agencies in Kansas free-of-charge. This initiative funded by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services through the State Opioid Response grant initiative from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Naloxone is an opioid overdose reversal drug that counteracts the life-threatening effects of an opioid overdose. Naloxone is available to any resident or organization in Kansas upon request.
