(Sept. 11, 2020) – As COVID-19 continues to cast a spotlight on schools as hubs for a range of services beyond education, it is more vital than ever to identify opportunities for different community partners to support these needs.
Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, for an engaging discussion about the interplay between education and health; innovative partnerships between schools, hospitals and other sectors; and strategies to leverage the County Health Rankings data. The event attendees will also learn about recent efforts to develop the future direction of Kansas' early childhood care and education system, built on the foundation of a statewide needs assessment and the All In For Kansas Kids Strategic Plan in response to ever emerging COVID-19 concerns.
Please register for this virtual event by Sept. 18. Further, facilitated discussions about the County Health Rankings in your community are available upon request. This event is co-sponsored by the Kansas Health Institute, Kansas State Department of Education and the Kansas Hospital Association. Funding for this event is provided by County Health Rankings & Roadmaps, a collaborative program between the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.
