(Dec. 8, 2023) – The CRNA Exemption allows rural hospitals and CAHs to qualify for reasonable cost-based reimbursement of anesthesia services performed by a qualified non-physician anesthetist. All hospitals requesting the CRNA exemption must submit a written request to WPS by Jan. 1.
