Kansas Hospital Positions

Kansas Department of Labor Occupational Outlook statistics project future demand for various occupations. Total job openings are a combination of new jobs due to growth in the profession and replacement jobs due to turnover between 2006 and 2016. It is anticipated RN positions have the most openings due to growth with 4,856 new job openings by 2016. Pharmacy technician positions are expected to increase the fastest, at a rate of 28 percent. Many of the fastest growing occupations in Kansas are in the health care industry, highlighting the need for more people to pursue health care careers.Download report.
